What do you want your time back for?

Three levels of delegating to AI, from saving a few minutes to having less on your mind.

Who said your AI assistant was just for work?

Booking a haircut only takes five minutes. You can still have those five minutes back.

Here’s where to start with AI if you own a small business

Real examples across operations, marketing and customer service, using tools you may already have.

How to get started with any AI assistant

All it takes is a few questions. Please ramble.

Claude joins the personal AI agent party

Anthropic released Duet, their take on an assistant that keeps working beyond the chat

Your team needs coaching. You have six calls to listen to.

The case for a personal AI secretary for a sales manager

Someone called in sick. You open in an hour.

The case for a personal AI secretary for a general manager

A buyer wants a showing tomorrow. You’re already in one.

The case for a personal AI secretary in a real estate brokerage business

The sofa won’t be there in time. Who finds the plan B?

The case for a personal AI secretary in an interior design business

Your clients have a coach, but who’s supporting you?

The case for a personal AI secretary in a coaching business

What could an AI secretary do for you?

Different jobs. Different routines. More possibilities than you might think.

Gmail is fighting for your morning brief

Its “AI Inbox” starts with what needs your attention, not just what arrived.

Shopify wants to be a bit more Lovable

Its “Canvas” brings conversational design to your online store

Google Workspace can handle the handoffs

How to automatically connect the small tasks you keep doing between Gmail, Drive, Sheets, and more.

Shopify wants to help you sell to AI agents

An additional route into AI shopping, without rebuilding your website.

AI helped write it. So what?

The creator of Linux makes a point that applies well beyond coding.

You can afford an assistant. Why don’t you have one?

For $100 a month, there are at least 33 things you could take off your plate

Meet Grok, the “I got you” coworker

Like always, this comes with pros and cons.

AI kept making my opinions softer

Teaching it my voice meant explaining which edits weren’t its call.

Your GPT-powered offering is probably dead

OpenAI closed the route to making Custom GPTs replacement public.

Would you switch to a local AI note-taker?

Google released a new free “Intelligent Notetaking” app that works offline. If it works.

3 ways my Dot changed my workday, in just one week

Giving the AI agent access across email, calendar and files is the key.

The rabbit hole of migrating Custom GPTs

One click to migrate. Then the hoops to make it public.

Custom GPTs and Gems are getting the axe

What changes for your specialized assistants

No, you haven’t cloned your favorite expert

Their teachings can shape the answer. That doesn’t mean it’s the advice they’d give you.

The AI freebie trap

Don’t build a routine around extra capacity before you know what keeping it costs.

Don’t wait for the right prompt

Start an AI conversation with what’s on your mind.

How often do you check your inbox?

The next job for an AI assistant: checking email so you don’t keep opening it.

Still don’t have an AI assistant?

You’re missing out on useful help you didn’t even think to ask for.

Your tutor, on call 24/7

Talk through the lesson, get help where you’re stuck, and work toward the answers yourself.

One place to change your AI models

What I meant by a “shared layer”, and why maintaining it can save you work.

How many automations need rewiring?

Your AI model retired... And it’s hardcoded everywhere.

Jev gives probabilities. Your context still defines what matters.

The same news scored 15 for my newsletter and 100 for another business.

How to curate news that deserves your attention

A useful daily briefing starts with more than a list of topics.

Stop paying your most powerful AI for tiny decisions

One prompt found 16 small decisions I could hand to Jev instead.

Never trust AI headlines

A new AI model looked amazing until I learned what it would take to test it.

Don’t be the early adopter

Let someone else waste time confirming the real use cases.

I love Buzz. Don’t install it.

My first day reminded me why what I enjoy using isn’t always what I would recommend to clients.

Before choosing a tool, figure out how you would leave it

Tools will change. The work, instructions and knowledge you build should be able to move on.

Keep the agents. Rethink the subscription.

Buzz lets you choose what powers your agents, including a ChatGPT subscription (or Claude API) you already have.

Do YOU need to execute the steps?

You’ve agreed on the plan. Computer use lets an AI agent handle the complex setup across apps, files, and terminal commands.

The GrokBot $30 plan makes no sense

How two weeks changed my budget expectation for proactive help.

Where did my AI credits go?

Make AI consumption visible so you can decide what to keep running, pause, or simplify.

I cancelled GrokBot. Then I went back.

Having the right capabilities and actually getting work off your plate is not the same thing

A one-day trial. A lasting workflow upgrade.

Trying GrokBot helped me get more from the tools I already had.

How to create a self-improvement loop for your AI

Don’t correct the same AI mistake every month

Get the keys to your app

Four things to clarify, plus a prompt to help you find them in your project.

Computer use is the future (bring a credit card)

A short documentary from a night of Grok, Codex, and burning through the meter.

Give your app a CMS without starting from scratch

Collections, admin screens, and approvals for people who aren’t technical

Your app can scale. Does the model?

A platform can be right for validation and need another look when a larger customer arrives.

Save time before building the feature, too

Let AI investigate and prepare the task, so you can focus on deciding what to do.

“Can we add a delete button?”

Removing something from the active list and erasing its history are different product decisions.

Let AI fight with your page builder

We brought an existing design into Kajabi without recreating every detail by hand.

Watch the first run

You don’t want to supervise your agents forever. You also need to know when you can trust them to do the job properly

1 hour 19 minutes without Goal mode

The ceiling is higher than you think, and you don’t need special techniques to find it

Your agent needs a sandbox

Testing gets complicated when your agent works across business apps.

What could go wrong?

A question that belongs in the plan, not after implementation.

Less maintenance. Still not set-and-forget.

The platform maintains the software. You still have to respond when a connected service changes.

Migrating from Microsoft to Google got easier

Google Workspace can now carry over more of the files, permissions and conversations that admins previously had to rebuild.

Make your AI images editable

Change one detail without regenerating the full image.

Avoid the insider job

The dangerous gap is between what an agent can do and what you meant.

AI automation no longer waits for the clock

Event triggers are replacing the hourly check.

Want to replace your tech team with AI?

Meta tried. And failed.

Is it worth owning the whole stack?

The best solution may be the one you don’t build from scratch.

AI is learning to get to the point

Finally discovering that the status meeting could have been an email.

Use the technology you sell

Analytics can show you what happened, not how it felt.

Claude’s watermark “mystery” is solved

Anthropic named the technology, and documented why it still isn’t proof.

Save your humans’ time in the loop

Human oversight should consume judgment, not time spent discovering what needs judgment.

Make lets AI build without hiding the workflow

Maia may be the ideal compromise between ease and control.

Ask PAM if AI needs you

Not every AI output deserves your attention.

Company data > Customer data

Google bid millions for the emails and Teams messages that could teach AI how work really gets done.

Fine. I'll update Zoom.

Software updates are annoying, until you learn what they fixed.

Now Anthropic wants to watermark AI writing…

We keep trying to prove AI was involved. It is still measuring the wrong thing.

Your AI automation needs a fallback

The happy path is never the whole workflow.

Opera might actually be better

Chrome didn’t win me back. It just made returning easy.

Give the new idea its own path

When one discussion produces two pieces of work, a fork gives both the context without mixing them in the same thread.

Not every question belongs in your AI conversation

Side chats give you clarification without cluttering the work that follows.

Chrome has all this?!

Sometimes the tool isn’t outdated. Your understanding of it is.

Goal mode should not come first

OpenAI is prioritizing autonomy before alignment.

Any employee can teach AI a workflow

Instead of writing the instructions, they can show the agent how the work gets done.

Your legacy software might finally have an exit

Computer use gives AI agents access to old systems that have no API, connector or useful export.

The first run costs time. The second one gives it back.

The frustrating setup becomes the reusable operational knowledge

Gamma beat my AI slide system. I’m keeping both.

Buy the result you need today while building the option you may want tomorrow.

Use the most powerful model you can afford

The cheaper model costs more once you factor in your time.

Don’t let AI turn your job into endless review

The more execution you delegate, the more your job becomes deciding what moves forward.

Turn your subject into slides that feel like you

First get the story right. Then let it fill the template.

Build the template before the deck

Your old slides are more useful than your next prompt.

It looks done sooner

AI can make a feature feel finished long before it is ready to rely on.

What’s complex now?

AI didn’t just speed up software work. It scrambled our sense of what should be difficult.

Start with the task you hate

Your first AI agent is not meant to maximize revenue, but to make you want to build the next one

Your subscriptions bill might be hiding duplicates

A quick way to spot overlapping tools before your next renewal.

Describe work, not software

Before asking AI for a screen, button, or automation, explain what needs to happen.

Your future AI infrastructure might not be a server room

Open models could soon let businesses run most of their AI internally

A feature nobody notices is not fully shipped

Products keep evolving. What users believe they can do often stays frozen in time.

Small companies might discover AI's limits the expensive way

AI makes software cheaper to build. It does not make fragile systems cheaper to own.

Your community is not your company chat

The familiar choice may be working against what you are trying to build

Fable won. Look again.

Before switching models, look beyond who supposedly won the comparison.

The browser is becoming a commodity

What to prioritize when every browser starts offering the same features.

Your Demo data might be lying to you

Clean demo prove the idea can work. Does not make it complete.

A determined user always find a way

Don’t mistake client-side friction for security.

OpenAI just made switching from Claude an easy path

GPT 5.6 is a model launch. But the product decisions around it look like a deliberate effort to remove friction for people curious about ChatGPT agents.

Not every App needs an interface

Some workflows are designed to be operated by agents

Skills are better with tools

Instructions help the agent know what to do. Scripts help it do it the same way every time.

There is nothing magical about Skills

They are to AI agents what recipes are to cooks.

AI can help you think before it helps you write

Before asking for output, make it interview you.

What Goal mode is for

A new agent mode for giving AI a finish line instead of another prompt.

AI unlocks your true potential

Not because it lets you skip the work. Because it helps the work reach the level it was aiming for.

The tiny reasons we stick with an App

Sometimes the winning feature is not on the spec sheet.

You can vibe-code Mac apps now

But Glaze's real trick is making these apps easier to launch, share, and install.

Stop copy-pasting into ChatGPT/Claude

Let AI work where your files already live

Skip Starter, get at least Standard for Google Workspace

10x the value for twice the price of Starter

The first tool I add after going live

The best AI-first tools do not add complexity. They remove the work between question, insight, and action.

Never get attached to a specific technology

The tools that work today can still become tomorrow’s migration project.

Which AI level does this job need?

The useful move is choosing the lowest level that removes the bottleneck.

The AI ladder

Before chasing better models, figure out which level of AI your work actually needs.

Before building, define who

The role map comes first: who uses it, who maintains it, who approves it, and who owns it.

Learn as you delegate

Delegating saves time today. A few extra questions are what increase your leverage tomorrow.

AI can build the integration. Should you still use Zapier?

The real question is not whether DIY is possible. It is how much workflow you want to maintain afterward.

What bad looks like is part of the brief

Showing the anti-pattern can be as useful as describing the target state.

Amazon has entered the personal agent room

Amazon Quick looked interesting for ten minutes. My existing context looked more valuable.

How daily writing accidentally rebuilt my Instagram

Once AI joins your process, one project turns into the next, and the next…

Share the "Good to know" with your agent

When it feels barely relevant, it might actually be a key constraint

Make your AI setup portable

Computers became interchangeable once the work moved to the cloud. AI models are heading the same way.

ChatGPT has eyes on becoming a Super App

Still on a quest to become your de facto personal agent, one feature at a time

Just because "AI can build it" does not mean you should

The real skill is knowing when to build, when to buy, and when the default tool is already enough

Models can disappear. Your work should not.

The latest AI model drama is another reminder that resilience matters more than model hype.

When to use Deep Research instead of Chat

Some questions need more than a reply

Can another agent pick up the work?

The real test of whether your AI workflow is resilient.

How I burned through my AI allowance in 90 minutes

The agents weren't building. They were reacting.

Your App probably doesn't need the App Store

Start web-first, then build native around the flows your users prove are worth it.

Apple arrives late to the AI game, but with a real advantage

Not the biggest model. The deepest access to the user.

AI can know the answer and still miss the move

The agent may have the knowledge, the feature, and the capability. Expertise is still knowing when to ask for it.

Subagents are not just fast mode

The real gain is not parallel work. It is better delegation.

The answer is still to try it

Benedict Evans had a useful take on the AI question everyone keeps asking.

Not keeping up with AI? Be more curious

The people getting better are not watching every demo. They are testing AI against their own use cases.

The AI agent you need might already exist in the tools you use

I used Amazon’s Rufus to turn a book search into a simple lead qualification workflow

Your agent wanted to follow you…

It does now.

Using AI every day but not getting better yourself?

You have to go beyond generation and delegation.
